The last step is the final sort and Relationship Linker processes. The values in the Lev1_Matched attribute now represent the resolved match sets from all three Relationship Linkers at level 1. We use this attribute as the window key to group all records together for the final Relationship Linker.

To set up and run the final Sort process

  1. In the project view, right-click the output of the File Update process.

  2. Click Add process branch. The Create Process window opens.

  3. Select Sort for Linking from the Process selection list, select the Configure Now check box and click OK. The Sort Order window opens.

  4. Click Insert and specify the sort key as follows:

    • Name: LEV1_MATCHED

    • Order: Ascending

    • Collating sequence: ASCII

  5. Click OK.

  6. Select WINDOW_KEY_01 and click Delete.

  7. Click OK in the confirmation message.

  8. Click Finish. 

  9. Run the final Sort for Linking process and verify that the rows are now sorted in ascending order by the Lev1_Matched attribute.
