When a dynamic entity is used as input to a Quality project, you will at some point need to run the Regenerate TSQ Data job. This will do the following:

  • Refresh the dynamic entity with any updated data in the source file.

  • Specify a sample of data rows with which to work.

  • When you add a dynamic entity to a new or existing project, all data rows in the source are used to generate the associated TSQ flat file. You can regenerate the input data (along with the flat file) to include a sample of rows with which to work.

  • Modify the attribute length of delimited dynamic entities. (See Modify Dynamic Entity Attribute Lengths.)
