To enable the JDBC encryption option for Microsoft SQL servers, you must configure SQL Server to use a TLS certificate for encrypted communication. Instructions on to do this are available on the Microsoft Support website.
You must also configure Connect CDC to use a local trust store with a signed server certificate or the Java keystore to connect to SQL Server.
