Connect CDC

The Connect CDC Director recognizes the percent (%) and underscore (_) wildcard characters for filtering tables by object name. Use % as a replacement for multiple unspecified characters, and use _ as a replacement for a single unspecified character.

For example, using A% as the filtering string for table name from a certain set of tables retrieves the Art, Artist, and Artifact tables; using A_ retrieves no tables; and using A__ (two underscores) retrieves the Art table.

No escape character exists for the wildcard characters: You cannot use the % or _ characters to search specifically for tables whose names contain a % or _ special character.
