To define a host

1. Specify values for Label, Machine (network) name or IP address, platform type, and Listener port number.

2. Optionally, select whether to

   • Pre-assign a data port number.

   • Use an alternate IP address for connections to this host.

   • Store XML file locally at this host.

3. Select how to access this host machine.

4. Proceed to the General page, or click the OK button to complete the definition of the host.

5. To verify your definition, from the context menu for the host, select Test Connection.
