Active requests that have a schedule associated with them restart automatically if the kernel was shutdown and restarted without stopping them and if the following conditions are true:

The request should be qualified to be active at this time. If the request schedule is such that it cannot be active at the time the kernel is restarted, it does not consider this request for automatic restart.

The remaining time in the request duration should be able to run for a minimum amount of time before its scheduled stop time. Otherwise, the kernel will not restart this request automatically. If a request’s scheduled stop time is only a few minutes away, there would be no point in restarting it when its duration is hours.
