This section describes how you create a new remote MySQL.

On the Servers Properties dialog, select MySQL from the dropdown list in the DBMS type section.

Check the checkbox, Remote Machine Name or IP. Specify the remote machine name or IP address of the remote server.

Enter information for each field on the Server Properties dialog. Refer to Server properties dialog for MySQL server for field information.
