Attributes are defined in a repository's profile. All repositories based on the same profile have the same attributes. Any changes you make to a profile will affect all the repositories that are based on that profile. Most characteristics of an attribute are defined in the profile, however, some are specific to a repository and are managed at the repository level.
Attribute management tasks that are performed at the profile level include:
- Add or edit an attribute, see edit the profile and Configure an Attribute.
- Manage Attribute Groups and Manage Attribute Tabs: When attributes are displayed in the detail editor, they are grouped into Attribute Groups. Attribute Groups are grouped into Attribute Tabs.
- Configure an Attribute with a Custom Action: Custom actions are JSP or HTML pages that are triggered by editing an attribute.
- Configure an Attribute to be Multi-language
- Create or Edit an Attribute Security Filter
