Assure MIMIX

Active recoveries are an indication of detected problems that are currently being corrected by automatic recovery actions. Before certain activity, such as ending MIMIX, it is important that no recoveries are in progress in the installation.

You can see a count of how many recoveries are in progress for a MIMIX installation from the Work with Data Groups display.

Do the following:

  1. To access the Work with Data Groups display, either select option 6 from the MIMIX Basic Main menu or select option 1 from the MIMIX Intermediate Main menu and press Enter.

  2. The Recov. field is located in the upper right of the display. The middle number identifies the number of new or in-progress recoveries resulting from all sources, as well as a subset of failed recoveries (those not associated with data group entries for objects replicated through the user journal).

  3. To view recoveries, press F8 (Recoveries).

  4. The Work with Recoveries display appears.

The default view of the Work with Recoveries display lists the in-progress and failed recoveries that were submitted to the replication manager for processing. This view is shown and described in Recoveries processed by replication manager.

Press F10 (View inline rcys) to display the new, in-progress, and held recoveries running within audit jobs and within object replication’s third delay-retry processing. This view is shown and described in Recoveries processed inline within audits or third delay-retry.

  5. To see details for a recovery, type a 5 (Display) next to the recovery you want and press Enter.
