Step programs are configuration elements that enable the reuse of programs that perform unique actions by multiple procedures. Each step program identifies the name and location of a program and attributes which identify the type of node on which the program can run as well as whether the program will run at the level of the application group, data resource group, data group, or node.
MIMIX ships default step programs that are used as steps within shipped procedures. Shipped step programs cannot be changed or removed.
