To synchronize an object represented by an object tracking entry, do the following:

  1. From the Work with DG Object Tracking Entries (WRKDGOBJTE) display, type option 16 (Synchronize) next to the object tracking entry you want to synchronize. If you want to change options on the SYNCOBJ command, press F4 (Prompt).

  2. To synchronize the associated data area or data queue, press Enter.

  3. When the apply session has been notified that the object has been synchronized, the status will change to *ACTIVE. To monitor the status, press F5 (Refresh).

  4. If the synchronization fails, correct the errors and repeat the previous steps.
