To synchronize an object represented by an IFS tracking entry, do the following:

  1. From the Work with DG IFS Tracking Entries (WRKDGIFSTE) display, type option 16 (Synchronize) next to the IFS tracking entry you want to synchronize. If you want to change options on the command SYNCIFS command, press F4 (Prompt).

  2. To synchronize the associated IFS object, press Enter.

  3. When the apply session has been notified that the object has been synchronized, the status will change to *ACTIVE. To monitor the status, press F5 (Refresh).

  4. If the synchronization fails, correct the errors and repeat the previous steps.
