Supported system settings and system values - assure_mimix - 10.0

This is a group value for configuring system settings that includes these settings:

• Configuration lists (*CFGL)

• Configuration of TCP/IP  (*CFGTCP)

• Directory entries (*DIRE)

• Function usage global settings (*FCNUSG)

• Job schedule entries (*JOBSCDE)

• Relational database entries (*RDBDIRE)

• System reply list entries (*SYSRPYL)

Captures object types of *CFGL

Captures TCP configuration settings, such as those seen from Configure TCP/IP menu (CFGTCP) options for host table entries, routes, server startup information, and TCP/IP services, from these files: QUSRSYS/QATOCHOST, QUSRSYS/QATOCRTE, QUSRSYS/QATOCSTART, QUSRSYS/QATOCPS.

Captures directory entry settings, such as those available on the Work with Directory Entires display (WRKDIRE), from: QUSRSYS/QATMSMTPA, QUSRSYS/QAOKP9XA, QUSRSYS/QAOSAY07.

Captures distribution lists, such as those on the Work with Distribution Lists display (WRKDSTL), using the option DETAIL(*FULL).

Captures distribution queues, such as those on the Work with Distribution Queues display (WRKDSTQ), from: QUSRSYS/QASNADSA, QUSRSYS/QASNADSQ, QUSRSYS/QASNADSR.

Captures all system-level environment variables, such as those available from the Work with Environment Variables display (WRKENVVAR (LEVEL(*SYS)), using the Qp0zGetAllSysEnv API.

• Default authority (*ALLOWED or DENIED) for each function usage ID.
• *ALLOBJ special authority handling (*USED or NOTUSED).

Captures job schedule entries, such as those available from the Work with Job Schedule Entries display (WRKJOBSDE) from OBJ(QDFTJOBSCD) LIB(QUSRSYS) OBJTYPE(*JOBSCD).

Captures network job entries, such as those on the Work with Network Job Entries display (WRKNETJOBE), from file *LIBL/QANFNJE.

Captures network server definition entries that match the path and wildcard location '/QIBM/UserData/OS400/NetServer/QAZLS*', such as those seen from iSeries Navigator for configuration under Network-Servers-TCP/IP-I5-OS NetServer and for file shares under File Systems-File Shares.

Captures cleanup settings and power settings, such as those handled from Cleanup Tasks (GO CLEANUP) and Power On and Off Tasks (GO POWER), from file QUSRSYS/QEZPWRCLN *USRIDX.

Captures relational database entries, such as those available from Work with Relational Database Directory Entries (WRKRDBDIRE), from file QSYS/QADBXRDBD.

Captures the IBM i supported system information retrieved by the RTVSYSINF command from files: QIZANETA, QIZASYSVAL, QIZAVRM, QIZARLESP, QIZASRVASP.

Allocation system values, including:QACTJOB, QADLACTJ, QADLTOTJ, QJOBMSGQFL, QJOBMSGQMX, QMAXJOB, QMAXSPLF, QRCLSPLSTG, QSPLFACN, QTOTJOB.
