You can optionally choose to have the CMPFILDTA command repair differences it detects in member data between systems.
When files are not synchronized, the CMPFILDTA command provides the ability to resynchronize the file at the record level by sending only the data for the incorrect member to the target system. (In contrast, the Synchronize DG File Entry (SYNCDGFE) command would resynchronize the file by transferring all data for the file from the source system to the target system.)
