To create a system definition, do the following:

From the MIMIX Configuration Menu, select option
1
(Work with system definitions) and press Enter. -
The Work with System Definitions display appears. Type a
1
(Create) next to the blank line at the top of the list area and press Enter. -
The Create System Definition (CRTSYSDFN) display appears. Specify a name at the System definition prompt. Once created, the name can only be changed by using the Rename System Definition command.

Specify the appropriate value for the system you are defining at the System type prompt.

Specify the names of the transfer definitions you want at the Primary transfer definition and, if desired, the Secondary transfer definition prompts.

If the system definition is for a cluster environment, do the following:

Specify
*YES
at the Cluster member prompt. -
Verify that the value of the Cluster transfer definition is what you want. If necessary, change the value.

If you want use to a secondary message queue, at the prompts for Secondary message handling specify the name and library of the message queue and values indicating the severity and the Information type of messages to be sent to the queue.

At the Description prompt, type a brief description of the system definition.

If you want to verify or change values for additional parameters, press F10 (Additional parameters).

To create the system definition, press Enter.
