MIMIX software must be installed on each system in the MIMIX installation.
At least one communications link must be in place for each pair of systems between which replication will occur.
The MIMIX operating environment must be configured and be available on each system.
The library objects, directories, and folders and their contents to be replicated must be identified by data group entries in the configuration.
Journaling must be active for the database files and objects configured for user journal replication.
For objects to be replicated from the system journal, the object auditing environment must be set up.
The files and objects must be initially synchronized between the systems participating in replication.
Once MIMIX is configured and files and objects are synchronized, day-to-day operations for MIMIX can be performed.
