The Job name (JOB) parameter allows the user of the command to specify the job name used for the submitted job request. By default, the job name defaults to the name of the command. The job name parameter is intended to make it easier to identify the active job as well as the spooled files generated as a result of running the command. For spooled files, the job name is also used for the user data information. Only newer features provide this capability.
