Use these instructions to enable or disable a step within a procedure. Disabling a step prevents it from running but the step remains in the procedure. Enabling a step that was disabled allows the step to be performed in sequence within the procedure. Required steps do not support being enabled or disabled.

The procedure cannot be active when a step is enabled or disabled.

Do the following from the management system:

  1. Display the existing steps of the procedure. See Displaying the steps within a procedure.

  2. The Work with Steps display appears. Do one of the following:

  • To enable a step, type 20 (Enable) next to the step you want and press Enter.

  • To disable a step, type 21 (Disable) next to the step you want and press Enter.
