Converting using the Convert Data Group command - assure_mimix - 10.0

The Convert Data Group (CVTDG) will automatically convert the configuration of specified data groups to enable default cooperative processing for files in a data group that uses single-threaded database apply processing. This command will automatically attempt to perform the steps described in the manual procedure and will issue diagnostic messages if a step cannot be performed.

Perform the following steps from the management system on an active data group:

1. From a command line enter the command:

   
             CVTDG DGDFN(
             name system1 system2
             ) 

2. Watch for diagnostic messages in the job log and take any recovery action indicated.

   The conversion is complete when you see message LVI321A.
