Default values for configuration do not result in replication of jobs associated with *JOBQ objects.

In resource groups or data groups that support replication from the system journal, you can configure selection rules (data group object entries) so that any *JOBQ objects identified for replication will also have their submitted jobs replicated.

Note: Replication processes must be stopped and started to make the configuration changes available. MIMIX does not replicate jobs submitted before *JOBBAS is enabled on the QAUDLVL system value to enable T-JS journal entries. If the start data group request that makes configuration changes effective also changes the system value, all jobs matching the configuration that are submitted after the time stamp of the object sequence number specified on the start request are replicated. If the system value on the source system already is set to the correct value, the start data group request that makes configuration changes effective will replicate any journal entry for a submitted job that started after the time stamp of the object sequence number specified on the start request.

To configure replication of jobs associated with *JOBQ objects, do the following from a management system:

  1. From the Work with Data Groups display, use option 20 (Object entries) next to the data group you want to use for replicating jobs.

  2. The Work with DG Object Entries display appears with a list of configured data group object entries.

  3. Locate an object entry that has a value of *ALL or *JOBQ in the Type column, then type 2 (Change) next to the object entry and press Enter.

  4.  The Change Data Group Object Entry (CHGDGOBJE) display appears. Press F10 (Additional parameters).

  5. Press Page Down to locate the Replicate jobs on job queue prompt and specify *YES.

  6. Press Enter.

The change is not effective until replication processes for the data group are ended and started again.
