Sign in from Automate Studio
Perform these steps to sign in to Automate Studio with Studio Administrator.
- Click Automate Studio desktop application.
- Select the activation mode as Studio Administrator and click OK.
- Sign In with your Automate Studio credentials.
You are redirected to the browser for authentication.
- Click Open in Studio to log in to Automate Studio with
Studio Administrator.
You are signed in to Automate Studio with Studio Administrator.
Concurrent logons
You can be logged on to Automate Studio Administrator on two computers at the same time. When you log in at the second computer, you will see a message alerting you that you are logged on twice. Then the message disappears, and you can continue to work. You cannot log on at a third machine. For more information, contact your Automate administrator.
Disconnected Internet connection
If your internet connection is disconnected and you have already logged on to Automate Studio Administrator, you can keep working for up to 72 hours. When the internet is disconnected, you will see a notification in the status bar. The notification will also tell you whether your license is still online. You can keep working, or save your work and log off.
The authentication requirement prevents unlicensed users from working offline.
Once you are connected to the internet, the logs are synced.
Reporting and Automate Studio Administrator
If your Automate Studio Administrator account is set up for reporting, the Automate administrator can access information on the usage of Automate programs and features.
Error Messages for Multi-Region Users
- Scenario 1: If a user clicks on Reset Activation and
then logs out of Studio, and later attempts to log in to an EU tenant or user on Studio
version 24.0/24.1, the following error message will
appear:
Unable to sign into Automate Studio at the moment as your account is not fully set up or the license service is down. Please contact your Automate license administrator to check the status of your account setup.
- Scenario 2: If a user is already logged in from US1 tenant and logs out of
Studio without clicking the Reset Activation button, and then
tries to log in from EU tenant or user on Studio version 24.0/24.1, the following
error message will
appear:
Studio cannot start because user authentication failed or because additional permissions are required. Please contact your license administrator.
