This method offers a personalized approach, guiding Global Admins through a seamless transition to Automate Studio Administrator. Perfect for smaller user bases, this method ensures precise control and swift integration into the new environment.

Perform these steps to manually migrate from Winshuttle Connect to Automate Studio Administrator.

  1. Log in as Global Admin to Automate Studio Administrator.
  2. Ensure that the total number of licenses displayed on the dashboard matches the expected quantity.
  3. Add new user
    1. Click the Users navigation menu option on the left panel.
    2. Click Add New User.
    3. Enter the mandatory user details and click Next.
    4. Assign the appropriate license and click Submit.

      You should see a success message appear at the bottom within seconds. Users display in alphabetical order by default for username.

  4. Repeat steps 3-6 for any additional users.
  5. Download Automate Studio version 24.0 and above, from Precisely PDX for each of your end users.
  6. Check our Best Practices Guide to upgrading your Automate Studio desktop clients.
  7. After all users have upgraded Automate Studio to version 24.0, you should upgrade your Automate Function Module to version 24.0 in SAP as well.
