The structure of the CrimeIndex (US) data schema file was updated in this release. Changes include reordering of columns and the addition of several new columns.
Due to a lack of updated source information for Puerto Rico, Block Groups for the territory were removed from CrimeIndex (US). As a result, the 2024 release of CrimeIndex (US) contains data for Block Groups in the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
