The following file types are part of the MapInfo Extended TAB file format;
- *.DAT – data file
- *.ID – identification file
- *.IND – index file
- *.MAP – map file
- *.TAB – Tabular file
To use Daytime Population (Australia), all product files must be located in the same directory and you must have access to all of the files.

Coverage area
The Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) is a geographic classification system developed by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). Daytime Population (Australia) covers the eight states and territories of Australia at the Statistical Area 1 (SA1) level of the ASGS.
Reference date
Total Daytime Population estimates are referenced as of July 1 of the given year. This reference date represents the mid-point or average value for the year and does not imply anything about seasonal variations in housing unit occupancy.
