Context Demographics is compiled using two inputs: Precisely boundary polygons and demographic data inputs. Precisely boundary polygons are refreshed on a quarterly basis. Demographic data inputs are updated yearly as data is made available by the US Census Bureau. No significant changes to data sources, file format, or schema were made.
Due to data collection errors, the US Census Bureau suppressed data for the following Census Designated Places (CDPs) in the 2019-2023 ACS 5-Year dataset:
- Brentwood CDP, New York
- Watchtower CDP, New York
- Wyandanch CDP, New York
In order to provide some data rather than none, Precisely opted to populate data from the previous release for these three locations in this release of Context Demographics.
