Data formats
Suburbs and Localities Australia data is provided in the following standard file formats:
- MapInfo Extended Tab (.tab)
- Pipe Delimited Text (.psv)
- File Geodatabase (.gdb)

No new features are introduced in this release.
Changes in this release
This release contains the following updates:
Boundary changes are based on the latest source data:
- New Suburbs: None
- Deleted Suburbs: BACK CREEK (NSW) - Area is amalgamated into MONGARLOWE.
- Renamed Suburbs: BALMORAL (NSW) is renamed to BALMORAL VILLAGE.
Future updates

File naming changes: From the 2024.05 release, the file names will be in lowercase.
The new file format that needs to be followed to align with the other products, will have three
components - product_three character country code_table name. For example,
- AUS_SUB will be suburbs_aus_extended.
- AUS_SUB_DISPLAY will be suburbs_aus_display.
- AUS_SUB_INC will be suburbs_aus_incremental.
- AUS_SUB_CHANGELOG will be suburbs_aus_changelog.
- Standard boundary updates.
