School Boundary construction starts with collecting GIS data, map images, or address lists from school districts or individual school websites. These serve as the basis for our School Attendance Zone (SAZ) boundaries. School locations are rooftop-validated based on satellite imagery. Additional attribution fields are populated with school data from the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) as well as other third-party data sources.
