You can relate quality rules to business assets, models and processes to associate quality metrics with assets.
You can relate rules to assets by using relationships, such as Validates / IsValidated By, or Governs / Is Governed By.

Note: Firstly, a Relationship Type must exist between the rule type and the asset type (for example, Quality Check-Business Term). See Establishing relationships for more information. If the relationship type does not already exist, you will need to have access to the page to create it, and may need to ask your system administrator for assistance.
Adding a relationship
- Select a rule type from the Rules menu to display a list of Rules for that rule type.
- Click the Related Assets tab to display a list of relationships for the quality rule.
- With the relevant relationship type selected on the left, click the Add icon to choose which assets to validate.
Tip: You could also create this relationship by navigating to the asset that you want to be validated by the rule, selecting the [Validates] relation type, for example Business Term [Validates], and then choosing the rule that you want to relate to.
