When you have administrator permissions, and no semantic type is detected for an asset, a Create New button is displayed next to the Semantic Type field in the Profiling panel.

Do the following:

  1. Click the Create New button.
    The Create New Semantic Type modal dialog displays.
  2. Follow the general steps given under Creating semantic types
    Certain fields are populated if the values exist in the profiling data.
  3. When you are finished, click Create.

The modal dialog closes and you are returned to the asset page, with the Profiling panel displayed. The SemanticType field displays a link to the semantic type, and the asset is automatically classified with the relevant semantic definition.
