The Details tab of an asset type shows the settings that have been defined on the item, which can include a description of the asset type, security settings and any color or icon settings that have been configured.
You can view a list of existing asset types on the Configuration pages, for example go to . You can open the Details tab of an asset type by clicking the name of the asset type in the asset list grid or by double-clicking the row.
These menu options are available when you right-click a row in the asset list grid or when you click the menu button on the far right of a row:
- View Information - Opens the side panel or changes to the currently selected row if the side panel is open.
- Open - Opens the Details tab in the current tab.
- Open in New Tab - Opens the Details tab in a new tab.
- Add Child Asset Type - Opens the Add Child Asset Type dialog where you can add a new child asset.
- Edit - Opens the Edit Asset Type dialog where you can edit the configuration of the asset type.
- Delete - Opens the Delete Asset Type dialog where you can remove the asset type from the system.
