- On the page, click the Add Asset Type button to create a new top-level model.
- In the Add Asset Type dialog, enter a Name for the new model, and optionally enter a Description.
- Define a Maximum Depth. This is the maximum depth of nested child model assets.
- Choose whether you want the asset to be shown by default by setting the Default Read Access, then click Add Asset Type.
You can also define these settings:
- Predicate to Parent - The relationship type used by the model if a child model is created. For example, model A is a child of model B.
- Background Color - The color of the box used in lineage diagrams.
- Icon - An icon to represent the asset type throughout the application.
