Change type Description
Introduced in version 14.1 Added Record all user activity to audit trail for case stores to record user search, view, and case modification activities in the audit trail.

The Details tab lets you define what type of case store you are creating.

  1. Specify a Name for your case store.
  2. Optionally, enter a Description.

    If you enter a description, this will be displayed in a tooltip when you hover over the case store in the Pipelines view.

  3. Select a Case Type. Choose from:
    • Case contains record(s) from Data Store(s) - Choose this option when creating a case store that will be comprised of both header and detail records. Case contains record(s) from Data Store(s) means that there is a data store of the Internal Database type which contains detail records, that are associated to the header records within the case store and that can be searched and viewed via the case store user interface.
    • Case is not associated with any Record or Stage - Choose this option when creating a case store that is comprised of only header records and does not contain detail records. The header records can come from any type of data store.
  4. Configure the audit trail options, as required.
    • Record system activity to history - Choose this option to enable the recording of system-generated activity for the case store to the history.
    • Record all user activity to audit trail - Choose this option to record user search, view, and case modification activities in the audit trail. This option is disabled by default for both new and existing case stores.

    The user activity audit setting is saved with the case store definition and is retained when the definition is exported, imported, or promoted.
