Note: Only users with administration rights can configure retention processing scheduling.

To configure the retention processing scheduling:

  1. From the menu at the top of the screen, select Admin > Settings.
  2. In the General Settings panel, click Retention Processing Scheduling.
  3. Under Execute schedule at, select when you want the first retention processing to be carried out.
  4. Under Frequency, select the retention processing frequency, meaning how often the retention settings are processed. You can select a period of hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or a cron expression.
  5. Under, for example, Hourly Frequency > Recur every, specify how often the retention processing job should run.

    The choices you can make here, depend on what is selected under Frequency. For example, if Weekly is selected, the corresponding heading will be Weekly Frequency, and you can set the recurrence, for example, to every second week (2 under Recur every), and on which days of the week the run will take place.

  6. Click Save Changes.

The default schedule for retention processing is daily at midnight.
