Note: Only users with administration rights can configure audit retention settings.

To configure audit retention:

  1. From the menu at the top of the screen, select Admin > Settings.
  2. In the General Settings panel, click Audit Retention.
  3. Under Default Retention Period, select the default retention duration.

    You can select a period of years, quarters, months or days.

  4. Under Period Precision, select the duration precision that is applied to a retention period.

    For example, if the retention period is set to 1 Year and the period precision is set to Month, the retention period would span one year back from the current day, plus the remaining days to get to the beginning of the month.

    You can select a period of a year, quarter, month or day.

  5. Click Save Changes.
Note: There is no default audit retention setting. Audit retention is not performed if the retention period is not set.
