Step 1 - Call the Job Scheduler to Create a List of Execution Jobs
MON-PRECALL processes one or more job scheduler reports to obtain a list of jobs that will execute during the next production cycle. The product uses rexx scripts to process the report(s) to create the list of jobs. In later steps, MON-PRECALL will process the JCL in the job list to obtain a list of migrated data sets and recall the data sets before the produc- tion batch window executes.
DTS provides sample JCL to run MON-PRECALL for each Job Scheduler system: The sample JCL members are located in the DTS.R71.SLyyddd.SAMPLIB distribution data- set.
