If Search Index backup files existed in the earlier version of Spectrum Technology Platform, they will not persist after the upgrade and the server will fail to start. If the server fails to start after the upgrade to Spectrum Technology Platform 2024.1, delete this folder:

SpectrumDirectory\server\backup\index

Then after you make sure that there are no Java processes running, try to start the server again.
