You can encrypt sensitive data, such as passwords, by setting the data encryption property to true.

  1. Navigate to <EPX_Install Directory>\Enterworks\EPX31\bin.

  2. Open the config.properties file for editing and make sure that the data.encryption property is set to true: data.encryption=true

  3. Save the config.properties file.

  4. Restart the service for the EPX Application Server.
