Work items may require instructions or clarification so that a participant knows the origins of the work item, or any background information that might be beneficial. You can view work item comments and add comments of your own.

If there are any comments attached to a work item, a comment icon appears next to the listed work item.

To view and attach a comment to a work item:

  1. On any mailbox page, select the checkbox to the left of the work item to which you wish to add a comment.

  2. Expand the Actions menu in the navigation pane and then click Comments. Any existing comments will be listed, along with the comment subject, the date and time when the comment was submitted, and the text of the comment.

  3. To add a comment to the work item, click the Add button.

  4. In the Subject field, type the subject of the comment that you are attaching and then type the text of your comment in the Comment field.

  5. When you have finished typing your comment, click Save. The new comment appears in the list of comments.

  6. To return to the main TaskManager window, click Close.
