Digital assets typically consist of digital images and PDF documents, but may also include audio files, video files, Microsoft Office documents, and other types of files. An organization’s digital assets, as well as the metadata associated with these digital assets, are stored in the DAM repositories. After the digital asset objects are stored, they can be associated with any repository that has been set up as Digital Asset enabled by the Systems Administrator.
