The Import Template function is used to develop templates that can be used to import data into one or more EnterWorks repositories. The easiest way to set up an import template is to create an export file (see Export Templates) and then use it to create the import template. It is recommended that the System Administrator verifies and tests a user’s import template to make sure it is defined and works correctly. It should be tested with one or two records in your development environment before it is used in your production environment.
While the EnterWorks Classic UI can be used to configure and use import templates, it is recommended that you use the EnterWorks New UI. For details, see the Precisely EnterWorks online help at https://help.precisely.com.
