Update Column command - MapInfo_Pro - 2023

What is the purpose of Update Column?

To assign values to a column, add a new (temporary) column using data from another table, move values between columns and enter graphics information into columns for descriptive data.

When is Update Column active?

When at least one editable MapInfo Pro table is open.

How do I access Update Column?

On the TABLE tab, in the Edit group, click Update Column to open the Update Column dialog box.
