Although you cannot update the following tables, temporary columns can still be added.
- ASCII files
- Excel and Lotus files
- StreetInfo main tables. You cannot update component files (see the User Guide for editing street maps).
- Tables formed using SQL Select with a Group By clause
- Read-only tables
