What is the purpose of Modify Structure?
To open the View/Modify Table Structure dialog box for editable tables and to change the structure of a table (add, remove, rename, or reorder fields, add and remove indexes). The View Table Structure dialog box opens for read-only tables and to view the table's structure. You can also make your table mappable or ungeocode your table.
When is Modify Structure active?
When at least one table is open.
How do I access Modify Structure?
On the TABLE tab, in the Maintenance group, click Table, and click Modify Structure to open the View/Modify Table Structure dialog box.
