What is the purpose of the Join button?
To open the Specify Join dialog box where you can specify what to do when an autojoin cannot be made. You can also override default field choices.
When is the Join button active?
When at least two tables are open and two different tables are chosen from the Table to Update and Get Value From Table drop-down menus in the Specify Join dialog box.
How do I access the Join button?
On the Table menu, click Update Column to display the Update Column dialog box. This dialog box contains the Join button.
