The main dialog box displays controls allowing the user to select which layers to Image map from all the possible layers in the Map window.

Layers not in image map and Layers in image map:

The layer order matters. In order to work properly in the HTML Image map, top layers should appear before (above) lower layers in the list. Layers that do not overlap can appear in any order.

HTML image maps support only one link at a time. For a given location, the link that works is the one associated with the first polygons encountered in the HTML file that includes that location.

Column name to use:

Shows the columns available from the layer currently selected in the Layers in image map: list.

'Add All', 'Add', 'Remove', 'Remove All'

If necessary, the order of the layers can be manipulated by the order they are added and removed. The default order is the same as the order in the Map window.

The main dialog box contains controls to specify whether the links should be the same as the hotlinks or, to a separate landing page.

HTML file name

If empty, it is automatically filled with a file name derived from the first layer clicked on in the 'Layers in image map' list.

All Columns

Automatically includes all the columns on the landing pages of all the layers. By default, no columns are selected.

There is a control at the bottom of the dialog box to specify the size of the buffer, in pixels, to use for the HTML Image Map around line and point objects. Line and point objects are automatically buffered when encountered and need not be segregated into separate layers.

Combine landing pages into a single HTML file

Combines all the individual landing pages into one single HTML page.

Columns

Click this button and the Choose Columns dialog box displays.

HotLink Expression

A check box to include the HotLink expression as the first field on the landing page; this lets you create landing pages that also include the HotLink expression.

Lets you specify, column-by-column, which columns should be formatted as links on the landing pages.

Treat All as Links

Treat None as Links
