Input table

Use this drop-down list to pick the table to be geocoded.

Country

Select a specific country or select Multi Country and specify mapping in more options.

Address Style

Specifies whether input address is multiline or single line.
  • Multi Line: Read the input address from all the selected fields of input table.
  • Single Line: Read the input address only from the address field of input table.

Records to Geocode

Select records to geocode.

Output Table

Select table to write the Geocode records to.

Field Mapping

Input

Select input table fields like Address, City/Town, Postal Code, Country, etc..

Output

Select output table fields like Address, City/Town, Postal Code, Country, etc.

Geocode Level

Select the precision level of the geocoder.
  • Street/Building: High accuracy geocoder - Attempts to geocode a list of addresses to street or building level
  • City/Postcode: Good accuracy geocoder - Attempts to geocode a list of addresses to a postal level
  • Best Available: When a street level geocode cannot be determined, attempt to a postal level

Matching

Select Matching options when multiple candidates are selected.

Symbol Style

Use this to set the symbol options for the selected layer.

Advanced Options

Match Mode

Match modes determine the leniency used to make a match between the input address and reference data.
  • Standard: Requires a close match and generates a moderate number of match candidates.
  • Exact: Requires a very tight match. This restrictive mode generates the fewest match candidates, which decreases the processing time.
  • Relaxed: Allows a loose match and generates the most match candidates, which increases the processing time and results in more multiple matches.

Create Points

Select check box to create spatial points.

Output Data

Select this option to output the results of geocoding in mixed or upper case.

Data Check

Indicates whether all data and table structure checks have passed or failed.

Credit Check

Shows your credit records, balance and cost incurred.

Server

Manage your Geocode servers.

Upgrade Plan

Upgrade your geocoding credit plan.

Navigation Buttons

Switch to Classic View

The older Geocode using Server utility is visible only when the Geocode Tool is not loaded. When loaded, the Geocode tool takes precedence and replaces the older version. Use this button to revert to the legacy Geocode using Server Utility without unloading the Geocode tool.

Process

Executes the geocoding.

Close

Cancels the geocoding and removes the dialog box.

Help

Invokes help for the dialog box.
