What is the purpose of Cut?
To cut selected text and objects and move them onto the clipboard.
When is Cut active?
- When a Browser window is active, the table is editable, and at least one row is selected.
- When a Layout window is active, and at least one object in it is selected.
- When a Map window is active, the layer is editable, at least one object on the map is selected, and the selected object(s) is not in Reshape mode.
- When the MapBasic window is open and active with text selected.
Note: Reshape mode remains turned on until you turn if off. To turn off reshape mode, on the SPATIAL tab, in the Edit group, click Reshape.
How do I access Cut?
On the HOME, SPATIAL and LAYOUT tab, in the Clipboard group, click Cut.
