Creating Points in a Projection - MapInfo_Pro - 2023

To create points using a projection, do the following:

1. Examine the browser for your data to determine which columns contain the Y and X coordinates. In this example, the easting (x) and northing (y) values are in US State Plane Coordinate System (1927) Mass Mainland Zone.
   
   

   

   
   
2. On the SPATIAL tab, click Create Points to display the Create Points dialog box.
3. Click the Projection button and choose the projection category and member.
   Note: The Projection box displays the projection used for creating points.
4. Click OK.
