MapBasic has several help systems:
- MapBasicHelp.exe provides descriptions for working with MapBasic functions and statements, and is accessible from the MapBasic ribbon.
- ExtensibilityReferenceHelp.exe describes the .NET Object Model API, which lets you customize and create user interface elements, such as ribbon tabs, buttons, dropdowns, and galleries.
- IntegratedMappingReferenceHelp.exe describes the MapBasic Software Development Kit (SDK), which adds mapping capabilities to your application.
To view a help systems outside of the software, double-click the help .exe file located in your MapBasic installation folder. You can also copy this file to another location on your machine, such as the desktop, and launch it from there.
