If event, message, performance, or journal data cannot be sent to the Proxy Server for any reason, the agent will save or buffer the data until the connection from the Proxy Server is available. This ensures that important data will not be lost. Up to 2GB of data (the maximum size of a data queue) may be buffered on the IBM i agent.
